Yocha Dehe Firefighter Steve Herzog was awarded the 2012 Firefighter of the Year award.
Fire Chief Gary Fredericksen (left) presented Firefighter Steve Herzog (right) the Firefighter of the Year award at the department’s Annual Recognition Luncheon on May 10th. Herzog received the award for his unrelenting and exceptional dedication to training and mentoring. An original member of the Riverside FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Task Force and a retired Cal Fire Battalion Chief, Herzog has been with the Yocha Dehe Fire Department since 2009.
