Every five years, the local Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan is updated and submitted to Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The plan addresses threats from potential hazards and identifies possible strategies to reduce impacts. This year, Yolo County, the cities of Davis, West Sacramento, Winters and Woodland, the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, Yolo County Housing, and the Yolo County Office of Education are completing a combined plan. As part of the plan update process, the public is encouraged to provide input by completing a survey to identify the community’s concerns about hazards.

Please visit the following website and  fill out the short survey prior to September 11, 2011. This information is an important component to the Hazard Mitigation plan and we would greatly appreciate your input.
