Language and the arts are necessary components of cultural identity. The Yocha Dehe Community Fund supports organizations that nurture the arts as expressions of culture.

Being critical expressions of identity and methods to communicate with succeeding generations, art and language will be promoted and supported. We will promote education about and the appreciations of Native art. Adequate investment will be made to ensure that the language of our people will be preserved and taught. We will communicate broadly about our efforts as a model of the importance of the preservation of Native languages and culture.

The Tribe is committed to the preservation and protection of Native art and culture; the fund will actively research and investigate organizations which effectively preserve and protect Native arts and culture.
