The Yocha Dehe Community Fund awarded United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Sacramento and Northern California a $32,370 grant. The funds will support its Woodland Community Options adult day program and in-home Yolo County Family Respite Service for people with developmental disabilities.
“Yocha Dehe Community Fund is a leading philanthropist in Yolo County, and we are proud to have its support for our programs that empower people with developmental disabilities to live life without limits,” said Doug Bergman, UCP president and CEO.
UCP’s Woodland adult day program serves 49 individuals daily. Many participants also have a physical disability that requires additional support. The program helps participants develop skills and encourages individual choice.
