The Yolo County Board of Supervisors approved an intergovernmental agreement with our Tribe in June to fund emergency services to the county. The agreement states the Tribe will provide $163,660 in funding for Office of Emergency Services operations for fiscal year 2010-11.
The funds provided by the Tribe will be used to maintain the emergency services manager position. Funding required for additional program staff and operating costs will be matched using a Federal Emergency Management Performance Grant and administrative reimbursement under the Homeland Security Grant Program.
