The Cache Creek Casino Resort will host its Rockin’ the Capay Valley fundraiser on May 2nd.
Proceeds earned from the concert will benefit Capay Valley Vision, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the valley’s heritage, rural character, agriculture, history and natural environment. Members work to establish a community-wide vision for the future and to facilitate an on-going collaborative process.
As the artist chosen for this year’s annual Rockin’ the Capay Valley Fundraiser is Buck Ford. A special addition to this year’s fundraiser will be line-dancing lessons to fit the country theme. Start time is set for 7 p.m. in Cache Creek Casino Resort’s Club 88.
About Buck Ford:
Buck Ford is a young, pure country singing sensation influenced by artists such as George Strait, Merle Haggard, George Jones and Keith Whitley. This influence is so deeply felt that Ford and his band pride themselves on the fact that their performances “bring back to life” the sound and feel of old country. He performs primarily classic country music from those artists as well as the songs of Jamey Johnson, Craig Morgan, Wade Hayes, Mark Chesnut, Tracy Lawrence, Hank Jr., Brooks and Dunn, Alan Jackson, Waylon Jennings, Garth Brooks and many more, including his own written and composed music.
General admission tickets are available for $25 now through Tickets.com on the web: www.Tickets.com or by phone: (800) 225-2277 or at: www.CacheCreek.com or Cache Creek Casino Resort at the guest services desk.
