Child Welfare Manager (Brooks, CA)
The Child Welfare Manager reports to the Director – Tribal Services Administrator and provides all aspects of child welfare services for Tribal citizens, including coordinating and providing services for minors, working with the YAAP Committee to address services for minor citizens, managing and monitoring payments provided to Protected Status Minors, and case management for Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) cases, including monitoring of clients through service records, community, home, supervised visitations, and office visits. This position will assure provision of the needs of all minor citizens in need of protection and support, including monitoring and facilitating services for medical, educational, emotional/mental health, social and AODA needs, while ensuring that the child’s basic physical needs are met.
