We are located in the Capay Valley, northwest of Sacramento in Yolo County. The Tribe is an active member of Yolo County and views our economic success as a blessing to be shared, contributing generously to local, state, national and international causes.

A: Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation operates carefully planned enterprises to provide a secure future for all members of the Tribe. The Tribal Council runs several committees, including Cultural Resources and Health & Wellness, and enterprises to ensure quality government and community life.

A: The Tribe operates an assortment of initiatives and enterprises to provide for and support their community in Capay Valley and stimulate the local economy, making the Tribe the largest private employer in Yolo County. To date, Yocha Dehe has:
- Provided more than $25 million in needed revenue to Yolo County since 2003 to fund local schools and health clinics, road improvements, water and sewer system upgrades and other infrastructure.
- Funded and operated state-of-the-art fire services and emergency response teams, as well as additional sheriff’s patrols.
- Provided $1 million a year to subsidize public transit bus service to ease traffic congestion.
- Created 2,500 well-paying local jobs—making the Tribe the largest private employer in Yolo County.
- Donated more than $18 million in the past decade to support the arts, the environment, healthcare, charities and community development—through the Yocha Dehe Community Fund.
